Bettersafe is a recently established company founded by a team of experienced and well known insurance professionals. Initially, Bettersafe will focus on two specific products, car hire excess and excess protect/waiver
The founder directors of Bettersafe Products Ltd are Harry Ashall and Bradley Brandon-Cross.

Harry has been involved in general and motor insurance products throughout a career which has included the General Accident Group, Automobile Association Insurance Services and GE Capital. In all of these roles he focussed on developing innovative personal line and add-on products for the consumer and motor finance markets and spent 3 years within GE gaining invaluable experience in the mergers and acquisitions market.
He founded the FSA approved intermediary, Creditor and General Limited in 2001 and was quickly recognised for innovative product design and rapidly developed an enviable market reputation.
As well as relationships with most of the leading underwriters Creditor and General’s clients include Admiral, Barclays Bank and Hastings Insurance Services.
Harry is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Bradley has had a successful career in the insurance industry both in the UK and internationally for more than 25 years. During that time, he has either led or been significantly involved in around 20 completed acquisitions or disposals in the insurance sector and successfully grown small or start-up businesses in the UK, Europe, the United States, Japan and elsewhere.
Bradley is an FSA Approved Person and CF1.
Bradley joined Principle Insurance Holdings as CEO in early 2007. Principle was the first Shariah compliant insurance company authorised by the FSA and offered motor, homeowners and commercial combined insurance products.
Prior to this Bradley co-founded in 2001 the Rubicon Corporation, an insurance outsourcing venture.
Prior to founding Rubicon, Bradley spent 6 years at GE Capital, leading its primary insurance business in Europe and the Far East, first as Managing Director of the non-UK insurance business, operating in some 15 countries across the Continent of Europe and Asia Pacific, Following this, Bradley was Managing Director of the UK insurance business; at the time the UK’s ninth largest insurer and a market leader in specialist property and casualty insurance.
Prior to GE Bradley was one of the principals and head of the European business of Consolidated Insurance Group. Between 1988 and 1992, Bradley was President of Consolidated’s North American business based in Wilmington, Delaware
